Getting ready to change my 10si alternator over to a CS144 on my 75. What I need to know is how to wire the 4 pin connector on the CS144 to the 2 pin connecting wiring that was on the 10si. Thanks Larry

A 12SI has a 2 terminal plug same as the 10SI. Is it really a CS144?
I rewrote my question. It is a CS144. My NAPA guy gave me the wrong alternator. But since I have it I'm going to try and make the 144 work as I can use the extra output. So the question is still needing answered, Or do I just need to order the adapter wire with the resistor?
Yes, you might as well get the adapter harness with the resistor. The ammeter equipped cars switched 12V directly onto the brown wire and the CS144 is expecting there to be a resistance on that wire.
If you had a charging indicator light then you could just wire red to S and brown to L.
I didn't bother with an adapter plug because I had pulled mine from the local pull a part yard and had grabbed the pigtail as well. Spliced my wiring directly into that.
Easy install and a great upgrade. Will allow you to run relays and better power to the headlights. Also allows for an electric fan, fuel injection, etc.
