Default Winter upgrades for 63Mako

Installing A/C. It is way to hot in summer. First step is a new March pulley system. Also increased air filter heights with taller K&N elements. Of course everything needed to be redone, fuel pump removed, reclocked, lines and filter relocated, alternator wiring is different, fan runs in reverse, spacer is different length. And a few other items but pullies are in. Waiting on a fuel fitting and fan, spacer delivery. A/C install is happening when I tear the dash out but I will get the underhood stuff done soon.

That's a really nice setup with the compressor and pulley system. It's going to be nice with A/C!

Geeze, tell me about it. Start at the front, work your way to the back and just when you finish it's time to start at the front again....

You're going to enjoy that!!

Do what you can to hide the lines...even if they are a mile long....looks a lot cleaner!

The engine and T56 generate so much heat it is unbearable in the car if it is really hot. The sidepipes are loud so it is not comfortable with the windows up or down for extended summer drives. Looking at dynamatting the inside, air and a decent stereo to make long drives comfortable. Last time I took an 8 hr trip my ears were ringing big time afterward.
