I did verify today that the engine and tranny are indeed correct and match the VIN number of the vehicle. Decoding the engine it was a matter of minutes searching but decoding the manual tranny was not quite able to - looking for a site that explains this number: WC319 which is stamped on the driver's side of the tranny, towards the back and it is vertical (bottom to top).
Need to know whether this is the wide or close ration and the manufacture date.

You would need to check near wc319 ( top to bottom) and find that the partial vin is yours first. This assumes the trans has not been touched.

How many grooves on the input shaft going around the shaft? My super T 10 i just scored has 3, and its a nodular iron case too. Mine decoded out of a 1979 camaro has a 2.64 first gear in it.
