ADEMCO was an alarm company that made many parts for cars and homes / commercial. I wired many shops in the 70's on weekends for extra money.

From the looks of the part it looks like a vibration / tilt switch to set off the alarm if the car was tilted or shaken .

The relay would lock the alarm on and MAYBE lock out the starter until the alarm was reset.

Back in the day - no on used timers for an alarm. They rang until the alarm was reset or the battery went dead. Then cities passed laws for 2 minutes on an alarm.

The piece on the left looks like a primitive timer / flasher for the alarm.
