Ok. I'm gonna ask another question. What the heck is the difference between a automatic and a manual with these circumstances.I've had 2 Z06s. Now if I'm in a Z06 and I rev it to 3500 rpms and pop the cluch then stomp it to the floor to take off.
What's the difference in having a automatic with a 3500 stall that you rev to 3500 rpms and then stomping it to the floor? aren't you still producing the same thing? I'm not as mechanical as you guys are. But it seems like the same thing to me?

Thats not quite how it works. You can idle around all day long, in gear, with a 3500 stall.
The car still moves below 3500. Its notall or nothing. You get normal operation until you stab the loud pedal. You can power brake almost up to 3500 before the convertor engages fully. Thats called flash point. But the rpms come up so fast it can scare the hell out you. An automatic is a lot more forgiving on the drivetrain because there isn't the shock you experience with dumping the clutch.
Then if you install a shift kit you remove the hesitation you get between shifts. The kit makes the shifts "right now" & fast. No lag time. The kit will actually chirp the tires from 1-2 shift and sometimes 2-3 shift.
