Going through the wiring I found four things that I either could not certainly identify or just did not know what they are.
The first was under the hood. I suppose it was connected to the blower (that looks like orange wire). It looks like a capacitor ? Or designed to inhibit noise for radio ?
The first and last pictures look like noise capacitors.
The second looks like a vaccum line to your heating/AC (if equipped) system.
The third is a light bulb socket.
Hi,
The parts in the first photo are the electrical connections (cut up) for the heater/defroster blower motor.
One of the parts is a capacitor that only radio equipped cars had.

Alan

Hi D,
The first photo is looking in through the opening in the fender for the side grill.
The second is looking at the blower from the engine compartment.

you need to buy an AIM for your car(shows parts break down etc.) there are paper styles(old person style((like me))usage) and computer discs(new person, modern person style). They help a lot. What year car???
My 69 w AC has the same 2 capacitors. The one under the dash is spliced into the harness with the blade type connectors like you do when you add trailer lights, but it is indeed factory installed.
Yes. I think it’s the pot on the left. And it is indeed a 1969.
That is a vacuum controlled actuator for the defrost diverter valve. Mine was leaking engine vacuum so I am replacing it. Vendors sell repros but I am still searching for a NOS one now that my dash is out of the car. May have to settle for an equivalent replacement as the original part # has been superceded.
