Hi! I'm going to perform a comp rest on my 70 ls5 that won't start. 2 questions, if anyone has a moment.
1. Can I test for compression on a cold motor (car won't start, and I'm running out of causes, although I find it hard to believe the motor suffered catastrophic compression loss randomly)?
2. Any tips on actually connecting the tester to the engine? I can't find a way to thread the hose into the adapter in the close quarters of the engine bay, and the same issue prevents me from threading the adapter into the engine with the hose connected. Right angle adapter?
Thanks!
