called Eaton Detroit spring they do not have original springs and said no body makes them but can use heavy duty replacements. is not the answer i was looking for i want the car to ride and sit like it was. a shorter spring with more
spring load will ride stiffer
A spring is defined by wire diameter, free length and number of active coils. Measure yours and google those attributes for one that matches.
Years ago I wanted a specific spring for an autocross application (not Corvette). All the aftermarket companies wanted big coin that I thought was unreasonable. I went through vendor catalogs (pre-internet) and found a spring for a trailer application that was perfect for $29. Won my class that year.

Hi c69,
I'm surprised to hear that.
I was under the impression that they were making the front spring in the original configuration!?!?
Perhaps it's just the rear spring reproduction that they're making?
Sorry to mislead you!
Are you certain that your originals need to be replaced?
Regards,
Alan
