C3 Steering Box Question
Hello! The steering box on my 1974 Vette is worn and instead of rebuilding it I would like to just replace it with a new one. The car does have power steering. I have decided to go with New OEM Saginaw box from Borgeson (part # 920038). The question I have is will this box work for my application? It says that it is a manual box, but it was my understanding that the boxes on manual and power steering cars are the same. Is this true?

As with any box, new or rebuilt, there should be no lost motion on center. You're correct the original Saginaw boxes were the same for both manual and PS. The pitman arms were different. Finding a quality rag joint may be costly if you want the best, NOS GM. Personally I would check the box before you install it just to be sure. You shouldn't have to do this but it's not a bad idea today.
