Temp Guage DOA
Yesterday I'm toolin' around, everything is fine. I jump on it a little from a light (silly Maxima :rolleyes: ). When I'm done scrapin' this guy off the bottom of my boot I check all the guages. The temp guage is DOA, pegged to the cold side. Then it did this weird twitching thing, was shaking all over the place @ 4000 RPM for 5-10 seconds. Did that 3-4 times, then back to cold DOA. S'pose I should check the connection and the fuse, all the other guages work fine (even the clock :D )

Sounds like your sending unit wire came off, it's more disturbing if it falls off and gronds on your header then it pegs hot instead of an open cold peg.

Thanks Pat. When I got home the wife was standing there waiting for me in the driveway. Sooooo, didn't have time to diagnose if ya know what I mean :smash:

Pat - Just checked it out, sensor was off like you said. AND, it was laying on the header which might explain the rapid twitching thing. Hooked it back up and it we're cooking with gas again.
