I WANT TO PUT A ROLL BAR IN MY 76 T-TOP. I'M THINKING OF A BOLT IN APPLICATION THAT WILL FIT UNDER THE T-TOP CROSS BAR WITH A LOWER BRACE THAT RUNS FROM SIDE TO SIDE. THE REASON FOR THIS IS TO HAVE A MOUNTING POINT FOR A SHOLDER HARNESS AS PART OF A 5 POINT HOOK-UP. HAS ANYONE HAD ANY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS OR ANY SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO PROCEED.

If all you want to do is use a 5 point harness check this out Shark Bar I I just put one in my '81 and I'm glad I did this instead of a roll bar, takes up much less room. See this I don't really race so why bother with a roll bar/cage, and I don't have the time or money to get into the 11's.
Mike--
Very slick setup! I was wanting to do something similar for my '78. Where did you find this? It looks like JEGS has them for $122 or so for a 4-point and $150 for an 8-point. I think the 8-point would be a bit overkill unless they could build the bars to swing out when you get in or out. I also need to find something that displays the requirements for how fast your car runs and the roll bar that is required. Anyone have any tips? Thanks.
