Default So why is it?

I'm a long time gearhead that recently took an interest at C3s. Why is it that the earlier c3s look so much shorter than the later versions. I'm building my wife a 76 and really like the lines but the early C3 vettes look so much more proportional.

Rubber bumpers are larger then the metal ones.

Because they are shorter? The vinyl bumpers added length. 182.5 inches in 1969, 185.2 in 1976. 3.3 inches added when they got rid of the chrome bumper. The flat rear of the chrome bumper cars might make them look squatter and shorter, too.

I realized the nose was shorter. I guess I'm just slow... I didn't realize the rear was shorter or the impact of the shorter rear.

Hmmm...interesting. Are the 'glass ones not the same dimensions as the factory crap rubber ones Ronnie?

Or are you remarking about the "wavyness"?
