There are several ways to lower your corvette.
Swapping the front and rear springs is one way, going to adjustable coil over shocks front and rear is another.
Are you going to track your car or will you use it primarily for street cruising?
Call Dan at Van Steel and talk with him and he will give you great advise.
Vette brakes & Products (VBP or VB&P or whatever they go by) would be another place to check suspension parts
You may be able to get away with going to 8" bolts in the rear and taking a piece of the front coils off (1/2 turn or 1 full turn) to drop what you're looking for

Van Steel is still a supporting member and I highly recommend their parts and customer service. I'm completely replacing and upgrading my full suspension and have gone through Van Steel for everything. Plus ask for their Forum Member deals and discounts.
Many people will cut the front coil springs and add longer spring bolts to lower their cars.
It is inexpensive and seems to work.
If you add longer spring bolts just make sure the bolt does not hang down lower than the bottom lip of the rear wheel.
There are many threads on this and make good reading so you get the front springs in the proper orientation and other note worthy items.
Thank you. I didn't want to get my hand slapped with a ruler for stipulating an address. I've personally not used any of their parts, but they look to be absolute top notch and a go-to in the community.
I have VB&P components on the rear of my car. Specifically the fiberglass leaf spring and the offset trailing arms. I have been very pleased with both.
If you are doing a lot of reading check out Global West Suspension. They have a special lower front a-arms that lower the car with semi-coilovers. Best bang for the buck out there. Would use a regular mono spring in the rear. But if you want coil overs all the way around then VanSteel as stated above is the only way to go. Just did not want to spend that kind of money for a street cruiser. You can buy the complete system from Global for about a thousand bucks more than it would cost to rebuild and powered coat your original parts.
just remember if you lower it 2 inches, guess whats gonna happen when you hit that dead coon in the road!!!
OP, a 2" drop is a LOT! You may want to post some pictures of how your car sits now, to give us a better idea of hat your starting point is. Unless you are the original owner, your car may not be as "stock" as you think....
