Default Engine clearance Issue with Serpentine belt

The pulley hitting the control arm
The remaining gap between the trans and engine. I dont Know if I bolt it On if it would fix the clearance

Hey guys I finally got to drop my motor in today with all the new hardware and I’m having some clearance issues. When I drop the motor in and have the transmission lined up, one of the front pulleys is just barely resting on the control arm. So I tried Removing shims on the control arm and it still is hitting it. I dont Know if I should Remove the other shims? So I’m kinda stuck. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I removed that pulley and went with a shorter belt. I redline at 6500 rpm and have never had trouble with the belt.

Make sure you have your torque converter fully engaged in the transmission before you start tightening the bolts on the trans bell housing. If not you could damage the transmission.
