1971 LS5 AC reinstall
Bought frame off resto in Jan.2018. Few odds and ends needed completed. One of the items was reinstalling A.C. components. They are compressor, condenser, expansion valve, hoses and brackets. Is there any diagram where all parts are to go. Sounds stupid but just want to be correct.
Any help would be great.

Hi Ted,
Because a/c was an option and because it required so much work both in the engine compartment and in the interior it has the most detailed information of any section in the AIM.
I'd certainly start by becoming familiar with those pages that are devoted the a/c components that are in the engine compartment.
Section C60... A1, B1, C1, through C5, D1 through D6, and E1 through E9.

Alan,
Went out in the garage and foynd 1971 assembly manual. The green cover one.
looked everything over, I need to pick up 3 bolts an s washer for AC bracket. I looked everything over and figured everything out. Just need to know if there is a O ring kit for the lines when going over. Let me know if you can.
Plus I found a fitting which I do not know what's it for or where it goes. I will send you a pic, maybe you know. Thanks for the help.
