My 555" was 11.6 with iron block and aluminum heads. Did fine on 93 octane. Real tight quench and tuned. 266#@.050 cam.
My 427 was 11.2 with iron heads..also did fine. 244*@.050 cam.
Keep it cool and tuned.

I run pump premium with 10.5 and iron heads. Shouldn't be a problem with 11.0 and aluminum heads.

Warmed block to 200f and found deck grew .015. Will make pistons to be .008 above cold. Should hold quench below .050.
To cuisinart: Really

"Pump Premium" has different octane depending on what part of the country. Do you have 93 octane available?

My 427 has 11.7 C/R. Aluminum heads and adequate roller cam. It runs nice on our local 91 Super.

My first roller cam was a comp cams extreme 242/248. 830 carb on a single plane
second cam was a custom comp cams 4/7 firing order swap 252/256. Using lobes from the lobe profile pages. It is a solid roller with. 685/714 lift 110 LC
