I used the C5-C6 4 piston rear Calipers and Rotors. The Parking Brake was pretty easy to set up, I used C4 Cables (Metric Threads) and drilled and Taped Coupling Nuts to adapt to the C3 Cable system. I don't remember now I used two of the right side or two of the left, which ever had the Metric Male end. Having owned the Car since new its strange to have a parking brake that " Works".

How did you mount the C5/C6 parking brake shoes to C3 spindle?

I was hoping to avoid this question. I have a C4 complete rear end in my C3, and the Hot Rod Shop makes a CNC adapter Plate to do the magic. I am under the impression somebody has come up with a way to mount the C5/C6 Brake system to the C3 rear, but I have not done it. The fronts have for sure been done. The original question had to due with the parking brake, and that part is pretty easy and works well.

Okay, this makes sence now. I believe it is not possible to adapt C5/6 handbrake assembly to stock C3 rear spindle.

Don't know what width of rotor you are looking at...

Here's a couple of options that will work w/ 1.25" width rotors- available for 13" & 14" rotors-and are mechanical

Looks like Speed Direct has a Kit that is using a custom made Rotor that must use the original Parking Brake.
