Default Birdcage removal

IŽam on the way to remove the birdcage of my 71`Coupe. Knows anybody the easiest way to remove the rear clip in one piece. I cant`t find anything about it in the internet.

Why are you removing the birdcage? Are you completely certain that's the way you want to go?

Do you know another way? There is big rust in the lower areas ot the A- and B-pillars und on the rear end of the T-bar

I look at this one as justification to buy a different car.
To me, the birdcage is the car.

When I bought my car a month ago, the primary factor was a rust free birdcage/frame.
Anything else can be easily fixed.

YES..I have done it...and honestly....I would have gotten to you two hours ago if you posted it in the 'paint and body section' of the forum...for whatever that is worth.

The rear clip will not come off as one piece...IF you are also including the lock pillar panels (B pillar).

So the quarters need to be detached from them.
