Looking to install a CRT distributor on a 1970 Corvette LT1 engine. Anyone have experience installing this distributor, and if so and thoughts or comments?

$99.00. Fascinating. That was one expensive MSD Tach Drive I bought 20 years ago I've deleted the tach drive, locked it out, and use it with EFI, and electric tach now.....it's a good thing that time goes by.....
I cannot imagine you can go wrong with that for 99 bucks...and you don't need an ignition box to go with it I imagine? And it comes with Tach Drive AND Vacuum Advance?!?!?

No, never heard of that one.
If you do take a close look at one, let us know what you think.
Just typing here without much forethought. I like the combination of a tach drive feature with the lighter weight of an aluminum housing. But, I still prefer the easier packaging of the older small cap distributors. I'd sure like to figure out a "cheap" way to get all three features (aluminum body, tach drive, small cap).

George wants the same thing. Think we could HEI an old MSD?
Maybe just use a new TI amp instead?
I forgot. That is what Tim is running.
