ok..how about this.....cowl induction with a sealed box to the filter for trolling around town....then when you hit higher speeds, you flick a switch and the covers on the vents at the front of the hood open via electric motor allowing air into the same box while closing the door at the top of the hood..... :D

i know! i know! you could like hook up a switch, and it could like open a door in the cowl, and like it would let more air in when you floor it! Like, B, you know? LOL Joe
Also, any ram air would have to come from under the nose. The air close to the hood is lower pressure than anywhere else. Those "Ram Air" GTOs and Firebirds did not actually ram any air, it was just colder air, and they got better heads and cams than non ram air cars so they were faster. Joe
Re: which air intake would be best???? (joe73vette)
Can also look into the Tarantula intake (TM-1) for the bb. They are known for increasing mid and high end hp, your bottom end kicks more butt than Jackie Chan already. Bolt-On had one for @ $250 used awhile back, just port match it and later can add the cam and heads that you want.
