Drove it some still not consistent with power.
Just got it where I can change up timing curve
I had to order a new sensor for mixture guage so pulling plugs till then

biggest problem ,back then was trying to blow -thru a carb,,gale banks got it 1/2 right with his boat setups,2 turbos blowing by a carb [or 2] into a box where the carb used to be

somebody had a set-up where the carb was inside a box and it got pressurized by the boost too

the real way to do this today is use a EFI throttle body and 8 injectors in the runners ,and blow-thru that

No telling what I may run into but it's worth a shot....if it doesn't work out I've already had my eye on holley sniper setup

502 cubes, TPI and twin turbos?? Do they make tires wide enough to put that kind of torque to the ground??

Seems like the kind of thing that could rotate the earth backwards and take you back in time ala Superman 2.

That would require drag setup....I'm just trying to make a decent powered Sunday cruiser

You probably need to go to a real blow thru carb like a C&S to really get a handle on the fueling.

Cool project, I'm sub'd too see your progress. I love turbo builds.

What is the engine combo? You just running on wastegate spring pressure right now?

Lots of people have had good success with blow thru setups on mild combos.....

Not a turbo but a Vortec charger and am running a C&S blow through carb. After install the only adjustment required was a small tweek on the idle setting. As for the timing I'm running a MSD dist and a 6AL-2 box with a MAP sensor which allows for the use of a laptop for setting the timing curve. I was told that as the air pressure increases that the fuel pressure also needs to increase at a 1 to one ratio. Areomotive supplied a boost sensitive fuel pressure regulator. Supply line of 1/2" with a return of 5/8". My max pressure is 9 PSI. Now if you change to the Sniper system which I'm currently installing on my naturally aspirated 9-car and from reading the instructions is good for a forced induction engine but you would need a distributor that you can lock out the timing so the Sniper can control it. You would also need to have a 60 PSI fuel supply. Either way you go expect your cost to be around $2000. T

That O2 gauge looks like a narrow band. Are you also looking into any wideband O2 gauges? Maybe one with logging might prove to be worth it's weight in blown engines.

You could probably get by with what you have if your HP goals are modest.

How are you changing the curve once the vacuum is gone/boost appears?

You definitely need a real wideband O2 meter. The best of I have used out of the 5-6 I have owned, is the AEM Wego. Its only $180, self calibrates without the need for free air calibration and its very consistent.

That wideband you posted a pic of will do nothing for you. You need to see numbers....This is critical for forced induction, especially on pump gas.
