Default Coolant from transmission line

Im running a 74 with a 350 small block auto. The transmission line that goes into the radiator looks like it has coolant coming out of the connection. Im not sure if maybe some coolant coincidentally dripped right onto it or what. I will eventually be getting a new radiator regardless because it does have a small crack on the upper drivers side that leaks when it gets too hot. Im worried that I might have a bigger issue than that. Has anyone else seen this?

My suggestion would be to drop the trans fluid and filter and see if it is contaminated with coolant and go from there.

At least pull the trans dipstick and see if there is any hint of water on it

I didn't notice anything on the dipstick when I pulled it out. Just curious as to what could cause this.

I wouldn’t be overly concerned, put a wrench on it to see if connection is loose. Or it could be a small crack in the line or on the mating surface of pipe to radiator connection.
Reread your post I see you said coolant and not tranny fluid.
So small leak in rad vs trans line.

Upper Rad has a crack and coolant has dribbled over to the tranny hoses. Perhaps the car leans a little that direction. I doubt its anything more than that.

Thanks guys, Im going to do some more snooping around and maybe Il stumble across something. Worst comes to worst Il drop the pan and verify there's no coolant in it. Just didnt like seeing green fluid where I should be seeing red if anything.
