Default Bolt/Nut size under gauge bezel

Anyone know the size of nut that goes on the stud coming out of the bottom of the gauge bezel? There are two studs and you use a nut on each to secure the center console to it.

IIRC they are 10-24, then again I have no idea what year your car is so maybe yours are metric or something

If you use one of these rod coupling nuts, it sticks down further and is easier to get a wrench on.

I like the idea of using a rod coupling bolt due to it being longer. But the problem I see in that is that trying to get a washer on the left side stud...when the car has A/C is a royal pain due to obstructions.

And already having the washer and rod coupling bolt on the threads of the stud and trying to get it to work into the slots of the console and its bracket can be a slight challenge in itself.

I will have to give it a try the next one I do and see how this works.

I use the connector nuts as well and although I don't have A/C I did install a pair of aux fuse blocks in that corner which prevented me from getting onto the nut on that side.
Ended up having to come up from underneath with a 1/4" socket and long ball end extension.
For the washer (both sides) I "crazy" glued them onto the nuts with a few drops, holds them good enough to get them positioned and started and then basically breaks loose when I tighten them.
I've had to do that in a few places that I can either see or feel but not both at the same time....
