chain location for pulling 350
everything is unbolted . motor is ready to be yanked . not sure what would be best location for the chain? Thanks :smash:

My 72 has the original lift points and they are attached at the left front of the engine, using the forward two bolts of intake manifold. The aft attachment point is the two right rear manifold bolts. In addition, there is a nice description in the book "How to Rebuild your Small Block Chevy."

Personally I would say at the top of the motor. O.K. enough stupidness, my 78 had the original lifting brackets still installed as well. I have used the opposite side manifold bolts though on cars without lifting brackets. Don't know if that is what is best, but never hurt anything yet.

If you are using a load leveler, which recomend, one bolt one each head acc hole or if just a chain, one bolt in the front of one head and one bolt in the rear of the other.
