Vaccum Override Switch
It should be in the "up" position right? I pulled mine down while the car was running ('cause I didn't know any better) and it made it idle bad. Just wanted to make sure it is supposed to be up.

When you pull the switch down, the lights should open but not be on. You should not notice any difference in the idle unless you have a serious vacuum leak in the headlight system.

I think I do have a serious vaccum headlight leak as they do nothing when I pull the **** on the dash (other than come on) they do not raise, not even a little. I have to get underneath and push them up.
