I'm going to install a Holley EFI on my 1968 300HP/327 w/AT. I have several questions regarding parts. First, will an Edelbrock 2701 manifold w/Holley and stock air cleaner fit under a stock SB hood? Second, is it recommended to run new S/S supply and return lines or use the flexible lines provided in the Holley kit?
Looks for a thread by redcruz1120. He just did a Holley EFI using the existing supply line with the regulator at the tank with a short return line. He used an LS regulator/filter. Holley makes their own regulator/ filter for just this purpose.

The 2701 fits under the stock SBC hood on my 69 with the Sniper EFI and stock air filter housing. I copy catted redcruz on his idea of using a fuel regulator mounted at the tank to eliminate having to use 2 lines, besides I don't think you can use the OEM filter with a return line off the EFI. T
NOTE; you'll see the 1/4 inch riser on top of EFI to allow use of OEM filter housing, and the capped port on right front was at the pressure regulator, also required for use of OEM housing.
