I have Pro 1's. I did alot of research. If you were to just look at out of the box CFM flow comparisions between all the head manufactures Darts are up near the top. But what it really doesn't show is some of the testing to show high chamber swirl and combustion efficiency. Darts only use a max of 32 degrees timing. Standard heads are more like 38_ degrees of advance.
If you buy Darts you can get all kinds of options look at my signature for my home page.
I also have a big bone to pick when it comes to Trick flow. I read all the Hot Rod magazines etc. Well the Trick flow twisted wedge was supposed to be the best thing ever made. I was blowing out the guides every few months. Nothing but problems. I had so much down time pulling the heads. They covered it all under warranty. It later came out that they marketed a known bad product. So they sent me these replacements that had really tall guides and told me to limit my valve lift to something like .500 lift. It was a total screw job. I sold them new like that for less than I paided for them. It would have been my fourth set on the car. They were only for mild motors. So even if they corrected everything and came out with the new designes I would never buy anything from them again!
The Twisted Wedge heads must have come out 6-8 years ago. some people on this forum are running Dart Pro 1 215's on 355 ci. In their unported state they might be fine. So then in the future if you move up to 383 - 427 ci then port then into really street machine killer heads
Dart pro1's. Bolted them on over a year ago - no problems. I used Felpros coated shim head gaskets (thin) Compression is near 10:1.
Small chamber is the way to go.
