Default Leaking fuel pump

I replaced the fuel line which runs from the pump to carb on an LT-1, and after putting things back together there is a slow leak from the fuel pump. I have the fuel line threaded tightly into the pump but I think that's where it's leak from. The threads on both sides look okay...don't think anything is stripped. Any suggestions?

your sure its not leaking from the small hole in the side of the pump? because the diaphragm is bad?

Also......A small flake of crud/trash in the seating area where the flared end of the fuel line fits into the pump will cause a small leak no matter how tight you get the nut.

Like Bob said....be sure fuel isn't seeping out of the small HOLE on the side of the pump.

Thanks for the input guys. I confirmed it's not leaking from the small holes on the side. I ended up finding it's definitely leaking from the threads. The new fuel line to carb has brass fittings and apparently i needed some thread sealant which seems to have done the trick. Perhaps in taking it off and back on i lined up the flared end better too (guessing).
