That bites.
Maybe I'll start searching for a good scissor jack.
Thanks for posting your findings.
I have one from my C5,that I sold a few years ago.
i think it was from a BMW. New and made out of
aluminum. I’ll look for it later today. I think this will work for you.
Well, guess what I found on eBay?
A New Old Stock shiny C3 scissor jack for $135 with free shipping!
So, I'll be using (or more hopefully, not using) a stock jack.
My old jack's bearing fell apart once I got it freed up a little, the ball bearings falling all over the floor.
No jack or spare onboard here. The tub is there for looks only. USAA roadside assistance rocks if I get in a bind. I'm done changing tires on the side of the road!
Use AAA, my 5 th Gen Camaro, from the factory has no Spare or jack, the wheels/tires to large to fit in the trunk because of the battery. The new car Sales Manager guaranteed me, that I wouldn’t get a flat! Oh, Chevy did throw in a can of fix a flat, plus a cheap electric air pump. Like I said, call AAA.

Same here. Plus no spare and jack = weight savings
