I’m like Mike Jordan, rarely endorsing anything for free. So pay very close attention. Toyo R888Rs are the bee’s knees. They are the ****. Acceleration, braking, and cornering is phenomenal. Get you some of this. 295/30 18s up front, 315/30 18s out back. Extreme caution, your fresh new paint job will suffer because rocks are thrown up. Mounting the 295s on 9 1/2” wheels was a challenge for my installer, but he got it done.
pretty good shade & ventilation in temperate SoCal climate ...
... lotsa race shops have supplementary lifts outside for washing racecars and to cut off wrecked bits etc

Street or track days ? I run Nitto NT01's for track days. 4 sec / lap faster vs Michelin Super Sports.
As for rainy days they are dangerous for the street, I won't run my Nitto's at the track in wet conditions, MSS are much better for rain.

I only drive the car occasionally to work, coffee and donuts, and to local Autocross events. I rarely have the tops on, and almost never drive in the rain. I socialize and walk the course, but don’t change tires.
Dang! Not available in my 275/40-18 preferred size. Of course, I'm not done with these Potenza RE-11s yet. But five years ago I modernized to 18" wheels thinking better tires await and now nobody is making my size anymore!

How is the tire noise.? NT01 tires have a hum to them on the highway.
How do you get 6" BS tire not to rub on the frame ?. I am try to fit 305's in the rear, but for track days I am worried with tire flex they will rub on the inner frame of the car. ?

No noticeable noise. But I'm running shorty headers and one muffler for a 427 LS engine. That's all I hear.

I notched the frame and mounted offset trailing arms. Do a search under "Bee Jay" for the thread.

But. .... you have a lift in your driveway?
Lift in driveway for dirty (brakes, oil changes, welding) jobs, four post lift in back garage for other stuff and car storage.
