LED light options - NOT OCTANE!
I need headlamps for my C3
I tried Octane Lighting as mentioned in several posts here.
Received lights from them, two bulb mounts were broken and 1 lamp cracked.
I have been trying to get them to send me replacement parts. they take 5-7 days to reply to an email.
Then finally sent parts... I received 1 little plastic piece that does not solve any of my issues.
-I had send them detailed photos showing the issues and what I needed to make it work.
And guys.... This Octane stuff is really cheap lighting.... Not even sure the plastic bulb mounts would last more than a year in a c3.
What else is out there. I don't mind spending money for quality
Thanks

I changed my sealed beam headlights to Cibie light units which fitted straight in, I'm still on halogen but led bulbs are readily available if that's the way you want to go.

they may be a ok company but my experience was very bad. Did not answer phone, ever,
did not respond to emails in a timely fashion
now with the Covid crap, I understand that.
But the lights I recurved were cheap plastic junk.....
I returned that and they now say they will not credit me for the broken lights only the good ones....
makes no sense.....

I'm a huge fan of LEDs in general, and have them all through my house, and inside both C3s. That said, have you looked at the H1/H4 conversion? You'll get better light right now, and have an upgrade path when better replacement LED bulbs are released in the future. They do require modifying the stock light housings, though.

I haven't pulled the trigger yet but I'm thinking about the 575's from Dapper Lighting - plug and play with harness for halogen or upgrade to LEDs which are true pnp with no harness mods necessary (they draw less amps than original sealed beams).

trimming of the metal bucket pieces is required
they are much brighter than stock with stock wiring as they draw less wattage.
projector style LED lights are superior in my opinion due to the defines light focus and cutoff Its hard to tell but these are just the 2 low beams the high beams are built in as seperate projector bulbs and housings. theoretically if a low beam ever fails I can just swap the outer bulbs with the inner bulb as those arent being used except for the high beam. These are the bulbs I installed one year ago now.
