Hey everybody, finally reaching the stage where I'm starting assembly instead of disassembly on my 75! I threw out both of my tie rod assemblies when I took them off the car, I clearly wasn't thinking straight. I have a problem though, Zip has a LH thread option and a RH thread option? Why? I don't understand what I need to buy outside of knowing I need two tubes and 4 ends. Any help would be greatly appreciated, although I know this isn't anything complex at all, it would help me out a lot.
The assembled tie rod is a turnbuckle. One end is right hand threaded, one left, so you you need two of each for the car. You also need 4 clamps to keep them set.
Be sure to get Moog parts. Ask Zip to confirm.

because each tie rod tube has a left hand thread and a right hand thread cut in the ends . so when you put one of each type in and twist it , it shrinks the length or extends the length , depending upon which way you turn the rod.
EDIT ….turnbuckle ! that's a better way to explain it . Yes only get Moog as well.

Reason: turnbuckle!
