I believe it is for your headlight vacuum there should be a fitting on the back of your intake manifold behind your carb. If you have an automatic you will see another vac line that goes to your transmission, it should attach to the same fitting. See where the yellow arrow is.
The yellow arrow is pointing to it. The vacuum check valve that you have can work but with it being plastic. Do not be surprised if it fails . This design of vacuum check valve is what GM uses on the 1984-1996 Corvettes and I change them out a lot due to how they are made and they can leak badly where the two halves are joined together..
