Jim..........If memory serves me correctly, those aluminum heads have an intake port that's around 295cc compared to the oem iron rect port heads that have an intake port around 325cc.

That's what I was thinking. GM was thinking a little when they did them.....30cc is a lot.

don't hog em out,if you go wild and just want a street car,you will be disappointed ,and that cams pretty big too

I would leave the ports be. They may be stock, which are pretty good. They may be cleaned up already. OR they may be hogged out too much already. You want 600hp hp at 7500? You need a .700 cam and 450 lb springs that will rip rocker studs out. Oh yeah. These heads already got that t-shirt.
