Default 74 Anti theft system components

I am trying to get my alarm system working on my 74 but may have components that are missing. Could someone please tell me how many switches/relays there are for this system and where they are located? I would sure appreciate some help. Thanks so much! Laurie

For the alarm to function first you need to test your alarm horn to see if it works!! Especially if your not too sure when the last time it did sound. This will pretty tough to do unless you remove it from the car. Then you need to make sure all your switches are connected properly. As well as the grounds. The two rear door jamb switches and the under hood switch are part of the 74 alarm system. In 74 the ground wires at the door jamb switches are connected to the switch mounting plate. Very difficult to check these. You'll need to remove the #3 body mount rear access panels inside the rear wheel wells to get at them. Good luck! If your switches are in good working order unscrew them carefully to see if the wires are still connected. Two wires on each side to the switches. Check your wires going to the under hood switch. The relay for the alarm is located under the passenger side rear compartment Jack Tray. The diagram PB posted is up to 73. The 74 cars have the alarm switch on the driver's side fender above the stingray script. It may be wired differently.
Hope this helps somewhat?
