First of all, I would like to apologize if I'm asking this in the wrong section, but I am as new to owning a C3 Corvette, as I am to this forum, so please forgive me.
To the point...
I have to change the transmission filter, but I'm not sure which one will fit... I'm a bit confused case the only numbers I found on the transmission was
B6P19N 16S405468 CFD1 338999 CB1 and to be honest, it doesn't tell me anything... a lot of the filters on ebay look familiar, but I'm really not sure that they will fit ideally...

As a pretty reliable part number source, you could go to Summit Racing and punch in your data: yr & TH350 or 400. There you should see several options on filters and more importantly, part numbers. (plus gasket)

As far as eBay, don't get me wrong, I use it weekly, however, shy away from wording that says: Fits GM blah-blah-blah. Or replacement for Fram etc
Buts is it a brand name part? A lot of knock-off parts come from overseas, some fit great, some don't and through clever marketing the consumers thinks they are buying a name-brand product when actually . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
