If you are concerned about it.....use Permatex Copper spray gasket sealant and paint both sides with it.
Cometic has always claimed you do not need it be everyone I know including me uses spray on them....
The stuff you are looking for was known as high tack...

Hi
Assembly of the 427 continues and I have a couple of questions.
1. Installing rocker arms, hydraulic roller lifters.
As I understand all pushrod play should be eliminated and then the nut should be tightened some more, I've seen from 1/4 to a full turn.
What do you recommend?
2. The temp sensor is supposed to be in the mid of the exhaust side in the left head. Another thing is in that hole now. Should I remove it and install a temp sensor?

Thanks in advance
