I paid $150 for a upholsterer for both seats... If you want to do it yourself - you might need some special tools...

I remember seeing an article about replacing seat covers in an ols Corvette magazine.. If I find it - I will scan the article and post it...
Seat bottoms are a snap. I ended up taking the backs to an upholsterer when it became obvious I was going to tear the material if I continued trying to force them over the foam. If I remember correctly, he charged me $100. He had to use a big steam machine to loosen/stretch the vinyl and said they were so tough to do, he probably wouldn't do any more!
It is not hard to replace the seat covers yourself. It is just tedious and takes patience. I have done it several times now and I get faster each time.
They do have special tools, but I just use my regular ones out of my tool box.
I think Willcox puts a sheet of instructions and helpful hints in each box.
I am glad everyone has had good luck with them. I am about to place a large order. Everything but seats. I am going to bit the bullet and buy new aftermarket ones.
