That green Mamba also has some serious torque and serious traction. Almost like putting a frame in a rack and jacking on the middle. You can make the stiffest frame flex if you push hard enough on 3 points. If you intend to road race this car, that frame really has to go. Of course your frame will be overtaxed getting groceries at this point.

Talk to David. Allvettesforme. He may have some ideas for shipping that frame. I got a whole dodge caravan from L.A. to philly for about a thousand. A roller frame might be doable for similar money.

I have an SRIII frame under my 73 coupe. While I haven't got this project in driving shape yet , (It is at the paint shop right now), the SRIII frame is much stronger than the original frame which is obvious each time I jack it up. I went with the SRIII just because I wanted a more modern suspension but it does require some extensive body modifications behind the seating area. I do still have my old chassis that I found has only surface rust on it, if you are interested, although shipping might be an issue. If you want information on SRIII just call and talk to Mike Stockdale, the owner, who always makes time to answer your questions and has a wealth of knowledge in this area.

Check out a video on YouTube, called Green Mamba Corvette and it should be the first one or the one that has a total video time of 12:14. Specifically pay attention to the 7:39-minute mark, and watch the door!
WOW that is what I call flex seems worse than mine but guess he has 2 times the power I have so maybe it is normal it will flex when give it the full throttle or am I wrong?
