Was not planning to have to go to the well so soon, but my recently aquired 72 coupe (24hours new to me), drivers door will not open now. Have tried numerous combinations with the key trying to open and or unlock from the outside to no avail, and have also tried from the inside utilizing unlock/ lock **** and door opener but no joy. Have tried opening from inside with a decent shoulder nudge but no can do. I am assuming some linkage inside the door has be come unlatched or jamed. Is it possible to take off the door panel from the inside with the door shut? Open (pun intended), to any suggestions and very much appreciated. Thanks

Roll the window down and push down on this part with a long screwdriver.
Once you get the door open you can remove the door panel and find the problem.
