No ignition
1974, 350, AT. KEY SWITCH WORKS AS IT SHOULD. JUST REPLACED IGNITION SWITCH ON STEERING COLUMN. Turn key and nothing. All electrical stuff works when the key is in the run position so I don’t think it’s the key switch. Any ideas why the ignition system isn’t working? Oh, and Last time I drove it, when I turned the key to the off position, it wouldn’t shut the motor off. Had to disconnect battery to kill it. Thx for your help, Bob

No crank-- check the starter extension harness connector - right of the distributor on the firewall- just track the wires up from the starter-- if that's ok, then it's time to dig- the neutral safety switch in the console would be next.
