Hi and thanks for any help!
The turn signals on my '68 will NOT work. The switch is putting power to the flasher (passenger side) and show's 12v on the meter when the arm is pressed in both directions but thats where I'm stuck. The very first time I tried replacing the flasher, the turn signal came on for approx 3 seconds and has never worked again. Since then I've tried several different flashers to no avail. The 4 way lights work, brake lights work, side markers work, even the reverse lights work, so ALL the bulbs light up............no turn signals. They do not light up in any way when the arm is switched in either direction. Anybody have a clue as to what's going on here?? P.S. i am Not a mechanic or electrical genius
thanks but the switch it working because it puts power over to the flasher. I've looked at that diagram several times and still cannot figure out what's wrong
if you read the description you appear to have the circuit reversed. The flasher provides power to the switch. The switch goes from the white wire from the brake switch to the purple wire from the flasher when you use the directional feature.

hmm...well, im not sure how to fix that if that's the case. I'm feeling this might be over my head
