I'm planning to install then tomorrow and I see in the picture how I would expect them to be mounted. Any ideas on "adjusting" them? Or do I just snug them up as far as the nut will travel on the threaded bolt?

it took me awhile to find my picture of it. Pretty easy to figure out how to stack the spring end links! It is the best idea for adjustability. Minor movements of the wheel don't bring in the sway bar. They are really good on the rear.
I put the nuts on the bottom so when you are under the car you can easily see if you have the same thread count on each one. You want them adjusted the same
Got it. So I guess I will install them just so they're snug. I think I had my old ones overly tight--on of the cushions was getting squished quite badly. Thanks.
To do this job, you will find it easier if the front suspension is in its normal or relaxed state. Because the repair is impossible to do on the ground, you need to put the front end up on ramps instead of getting awkward tension of the control arms on jack stands. When changing the hardware, do one side at a time so as to use the other side as a reference. The bushings that mounts to the frame should get a shot of White Lithium grease. That's available at any Walmart and comes with an applicator straw to force the lube into the bushing. Wouldn't hurt to put a drop of Loctite Blue on the threads of everything also.
Thanks for the info. I'm up on ramps right now so that will be easy. Not sure what the sway arm bushings (or control arm bushings for that matter) are made of, but they're quite solid. Has always felt rather stiff. Before I bought it - it had major work done at Guldstrand per the paperwork I got with it.
