My heater blower on my 74 not working at all. This is a no A/C car. Disconnected the blower and supplied 12 volts and it works, however when testing the supply to the blower it only reads 4.5 volts. Any thoughts?.
Thanks
Larry
Could be the resister bank on my 77 its near the the blower ,unplug the resister and check the voltage.Than remove the resister than you can check the resisters and see if they are any good.

Thanks, but I cannot find where the resister is at.
I believe that the power supply to the heater blower has an in line fuse. On my son's 74' (his has AC) the in line fuse was under the drivers side fender as accessed from the engine compartment. I suspect the non AC cars are set up the same way. The fuse was in a fuse holder that comes apart with slight twist to reveal a typical fuse of the same type as found on the main fuse panel.
Thank you guys, thought I was going nuts there for awhile.
