Default '72 pick up /sending unit leak?

Installed new tank and sending unit Weeping leak at the push on post for the sending unit. There is a small nut to tighten down under the push on terminal. Looks like cork. I've tightened it a bit but did not want to really reef on it. What to do? It still weeps a bit.
Thanks

contact the supplier of the sender unit. The sender can be removed without dropping the tank.

I have run into this same issue many times and I tighten up the area leaking like you did. Sometimes you may need to apply a bit more torque on it.

If that does not fix it,...like it had been mentioned...call the supplier.

BUT I still make sure the nut is tight before I put them on due to beign burnt by them in the past several times.
