Default Question for anyone with offset trailing arm

I am in the process of pulling my trailing arms and sending them out to Van Steel. I need new trailing arms and for minimal cost increase I am going to get the offset arms.

What size wheels and offset do I need with these? (17 inch)

Also, is there any way that I can use C4 17" wheels? I obviously want the same wheels all the way around, can I use C4 wheels in the front too?

Thanks for the info. :):)

If you want to use C4 wheels - you will need adapters. These are different than the cheap aluminum 'spacers' that you used to be able to get at pep boys, these guys are very heavy duty units and are available from Vette Brakes.

The offset trailing arms do not change the flange location of the rear so offset wheel dimensions remain unchanged. Typically, offset trailing arms advertise that you can run up to a 10" wide wheel- the diameter of the wheel is less critical. So I assume you could run a 17x10 wheel. The big thing is to get the backspacing "Offset" correct.

I believe you can run a zero offset '5" backspacing' 10" wheel on an offset trailing arm.

I havent gotten around to getting new wheels for my offset trialing arms so I look forward to hearing how you do.
