What could be wrong?

82Corvette win't start, if i press the gas peddle iit starts but then shot off again

This is a fuel injected car. It could be lots of things. Many many things. Google Corvette crossfire or CFI fault diagnosis.

Doesn't it throw a trouble code to the Check Engine Light (CEL)? Is the CEL bulb good? Some 'minor' codes don't turn on the CEL but still put a trouble code in the memory. Try downloading any stored codes from the terminal (under the steering column). Search the web for how to get the code that way and for the list of codes/problems.

There is so much to be absorbed, a YouTube video showing what CEL is, the method of retrieving codes, the eyeball checks like fuel squirting out of injectors... First find and replace the fuel filter. Again, YouTube. Fuel pressure check. YouTube. I am not saying go there instead, but this stuff is easier learned with videos than straight text. There is this thread that points you to good sites. It is an 82 and 84 only motor. So you can also get info in C4 section. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...solutions.html

get the trouble codes, if there arnt any is most likely a fuel filter. but the question is if the problem is in fuel or in ignition.

i have replace the fuel pump and filter, the cap and rotor and the ignition module, also the IAC. i can see the fuel comen out of the injectors. i teste the TPS and it has an open about have half way. so I order a new one. after all of this i can only get it to start when i press the gas pedal.

i change those parts because i was not netting any fuel and sprak and now i got fuel and spark. i am now got it to start while pressing the gas. i don't have any codes and the check engine light does not on. the light cycles when i turn the key to run.
