The switch that is triggered when the wiper door opens, does yours have power going into it? if so, is it being fully depressed by the opening door?

You MUST have battery voltage going to the small wire that comes out of the side of your wiper motor housing...that attaches to the large RED 12 gauge wire that goes to the limit switch shown in POST #2
IF you DO NOT have battery voltage at that connection THEN looking at the switch that is shown in POST #3 is needed.
Like mentioned,...the **** on the switch that is located under your steering column has been well know to be accidentally turned....thus stopping the battery voltage to get to the limit switch on your firewall.
