Im pretty sure you all have heard that the sniper has been caught. Any thoughts comments? Residing in Northern VA (Woodbridge) every one in the Washington DC merto has been on pins and needles over the past three weeks. Things have smoothed out considerably since these two individuals have been arrested. Me being a former infantry squad leader (Army) and pretty formidable with assault rifles, machine guns, handguns, and other destructive weapons systems. I even looked over my shoulder a few times. Its a damn shame that an individual can kill people with a certain weapon thus giving a black eye to the entire firearms industry. Well Im glad the bastard got caught and I like the suggestion of having him tied to a tree and being shot with BB/pellet guns. Death is too good for an jack*** like that. Some form of torture should be in order. :mad :mad :mad

Yep, I got a brand new pellet rifle with scope just waiting to be sited in.... I think this will be a logical punishment. Then when everyone has done everything they want to these guys, they can kill them in the name of saving tax dollars.

If I would have had to guess, I was guessing those responsible were some nothern deranged white guys. I would have never guessed this was some black Louisianaian turned muslim. I guess you never can tell.

By the way, if anyone thinks that gun control will keep weapons out of the hands of wacko's like the "SNIPER", you are surely mistaken.

Im close to it all. Im glad they are caught. When I pumped my gas I made sure I was standing in a position with fewer open oportunities. Look left, look right. Side step 1 foot can make the difference. The scariest thing for me is that it illustrates how easy it is to stir trouble. Im glad the the mass majority of people are relitivly sane. I think we really need to pay attention to our boarders. Thats my opinion.

Just imagine how LOW TECH this crime spree was. Two morons with no money, no home, no plan and obviously NO BRAINS managed to thwart law enforcement for almost a month. If it hadn't been for their own stupidity, they would still be at it. These guys have now set an example for Al-Qaeda and demonstrated how effective something like this can be in terrorizing a populace. It's like a very slow motion 9/11. The news media always begins with "41 year old ex-military...." and they seem to fail to report he was a Muslim and associated with Louis Farrachon and the Million Man March. If any of you think this is over....think again. We've had our OPEN BORDER policy for so long now, it's too late to fix the problem. The policies of the federal government caused this problem and of course now they are claiming that they fixed it. Far from true. This could be very easily done again with financial backing and two Muslim terrorists in each major city of this country. If you guys are thinking it's over...you're sadly mistaken. My suggestion would be to yell, scream, stomp your feet and write your representatives and demand they close the borders and round up all illegal aliens of MidEastern origin. It's time to start paying attention to what's going on around you, worry less about your Corvette's and think very hard about the future. It wasn't a radical, extremist, Tim McVeigh type white guy who did this, it was a Muslim sympathizer who wasn't all the bright. However, it was a white Christian fundamentalist truck driver country music listening good 'ol boy who was the hero in all of this. That's all I'm going to say because each of you know in your hearts that something has to change in this country if we're going to survive. You can rant and rave and flame me if you like, but what I'm saying is the truth. Think about what you would do if this "sniper" thing starts up your area of the country. Remember....the politicians work for us....we don't work for them. Tell them to get off their collective asses and do what we've elected them to do.....PROTECT OUR BORDERS!!!!!

Fontking speaks truths about immigration laws. Politicians have sold many of our rights and privileges for votes. And they will always sell out for votes. This country has some work to do in terms of security and politics.
The greed that rules the day is disgraceful. We have city council members that raise $50,000 to get elected to a volunteer job !! Hmmm
My election strategy is to vote the incumbent out. :nono:

I am glad they nailed these guys, but you know the biggest problem is our judicial system protects these people. Look at what happend to someone named OJ. In the old west days there was a trial and it happened FAST. The very next day there would be a hanging in the town square out in public so everyone could see what happens if you get in trouble. I think they should do the same thing now. Televise brutal executions, it would send a message to anyone thinking about doing such things. Lethal injection and electric chair is way too humane for these kind of people. Get these people out of death row and get the job done instead of spending our money to allow these people to carry on for years before their execution finally arrives. Our prisons are over crowded the way it is. I heard Mexico was willing to take care of our prisoners for a fraction of the cost we have to pay, but the proposal was shut down because our Government feels the Mexican prisons are too inhumane. :smash:

What you say is too true. Our borders are not much tighter now than they were before 9/11. Anyone from the mid-east could get in now the same way thousands from latin america have, by walking through the desert. The going rate now is $1200 to get to L.A. from Mexico. I'm sure that for double that they could get coyotes begging them to let them help cross. Why send out armed forces overseas when we could place them on our borders, giving them the power to enforce. Make it kind of like the opposite of what the USSR did.

 

Font, you are totally right there, but unfortunately, for every correct thinking guy out there, his wife probably votes the other way, most women and bunnie lovers....too soft hearted....and then there are the soft hearted men....liberal types.....well that means the whole system/country is headed for collapse...there is nothing to be done about it, as it's not popular to do so....I quit caring about this stuff some time ago as I feel the skids are well greased and this country is falling apart....too many damn liberals and they run the schools with an iron fist, just like the court system, and so on....
the country has been hi-jacked long ago, and guys like us can't get it back....I"m glad I"m 58 and will not be around to see the end....
