Distributor cam question
1969 350/300
I'm in the process of building a new spare distributor. I do not have a usable distributor cam due to rust pitting on the lobes. So I am in search of a replacement distributor cam.
My question (Excluding TI distributors)
Are all C2 and C3 distributor cams the same other than the centrifugal advance slot size. In other words are they interchangeable can I use any distributor cam?
I'm already planning to modify the centrifugal advance curve to suit my needs. So if there are no other differences in the cams then I assume that opens up the availability of finding a replacement cam, is this a correct statement?
